Wheel Refinishing BOSTON Area

Hey,

Lookin to get my wheels professionally refinished over the winter, but I dont want to spend an arm and a leg. The wheels are 18" iforged with brushed aluminum faces. Two of them need to be straightened, and I'd like to get the lips and barrels repolished, then finish em off with a coat of clear powdercoat. Is it possible to spend less than $400-$500 on a job like this? Is there anywhere in or around boston that people have had luck with? I'd even be willing to ship these to anywhere around New England.......Any help would be appreciated.

im not sure exactly where they r in mass but i think there called rimpro

Yea, they're prices are pretty high tho......I'm basically lookin for an alternative to RimPro

rimpro does a great job though. i got a wheel welded there and it was cheaper than every other place i contacted about it. ive seen their work powdercoating wheels too and its unbelievable. if you dont want to go there, rim and wheel works is in waltham. never dealt with them though. just googled it.

Yea, I've only heard good things about rimpro, but it would cost mee around $800 to do the work I wanna get done.....for that much, I'd rather buy a new set of wheels! I'll have to look around a bit more and get some estimates

Tell him J sent you, he'll hook you up. Very good work, theirs quite a few people on here that have went to him already, that I'm sure will tell you the same.

Yup just tell him J, we're close personal friends, he'll know who you're talking about. My S4 is currently there right now getting a ton of custom body stuff done. I recently purchased a set of Kinesis rims that were a little beat up and he straighted them and they are currently getting fully polished.. lips, barrels, and centers.

I'm also looking into this powdercoating for a set of wheels. If you're in contact with this guy, let him know his email isn't working. I know this is an old post, but hopefully someone is watching.
