well tonight I tried to start the car up and it wouldnt start at all as if the fuel pump was bad, so I hooked up my lil scan tool I bought from autozone and it says ERROR check connections....ok so I threw my old mika tune ecu in and the car started right up, so does this mean my ecu is bad or could the tapp chip possibly gone bad

Look at the TAPP chip in your ECU. You could have a bad/loose sodder. I had the same thing happen to me and it was the loose chip on mine.

yea I opened the ecu and found the the chip loose, and still the same results but I didn't look for loose solder so I'll open it up again to day

just checked everything and all connections are good and I didnt see any loose solder so I'm assumming either the chip or the ecu is bad???
