INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING - JHM Weighted Aluminum Knob w weighted steel insert (JHM gripping set screw design fits all A4, S4, A6, Passat and other VW/Audi vehicles with clamp on knob), JHM delrin bushing to hold shifter boot neatly under knob just like stock, 4 Set Screws for locking it down (2 are for spares) and 2 shims.

Aluminum vs. Black Delrin®: Aluminum can get hot to the touch in hot or warm temps. Knurling makes it feel less hot to the touch. So this is where Black Delrin® comes in. Delrin® stays a lot cooler than Aluminum does, even though it is black in color. So if you are up in the air about the type of knob you want and are not purely not picking one style due to its looks, then consider these differences.

Feedback from some of our current B5 screw on knob customers.

i have their shift kit with the -1" height and the whole setup feels awesome now with the knob. less notchy and just much easier to shift.

received mine yesterday. i got alum with red shift pattern. im loving it thanks for a great product. im happy to report shifting is less notchy as well. it is definately worth the money.

The price on our site is the current price. Our intro price went up 10 bucks. Still a great deal for a semi custom knob built specifically for your shift boot and factory style shifter.
If the factory knob fits it should fit fine.

Sorry, wasnt saying the price was bad, just wondering if there was another price for the GB.

turn around is 2 to 4 weeks still? I'm going to be ordering soon. i think it will finish the interior nicely on my titanium package interior and like so many have said make shifting a bit smoother.

As of today (thanks to Matt my workaholic) we have all of them done but one on the current orders even orders only a couple days ago. So turnaround will hopefully speed up. But, with the holidays I may not be able to slave Matt as much. HEHE. Sorry matt.

do you guys have the retaining clips as well for the boot plate, there are four of them. I want to replace the ones i have, there pretty beat from the ss install, i needed to adjust it a few times.

Yeah it is hit and miss if they stay on the boot or in the console and sometimes end up falling into the console into never never land.

I have considered stocking them as a convenience.

if you order just specify in the comments you want some and it will get my but in gear to get some for my shelf and can ship them with the knob. I will just call you with the price once I get em.

Probably get it wrapped up after the holiday.

I already got the clips coming for the boot. Ordered a couple dozen and they will be here Monday. Retail is $2.88 each, i will only want $2 each. We will square it away before we ship.

I'll shoot some pics for sure as soon as work settles down and i have a few minutes to install it. It really looks awesome though, quality work... (I'll make sure i clean the interior, dash and nav for the pictures) I think its going to look perfect with the piano black trim.

On the B6/B7 Cars it should take 30 to 60 minutes for a pro especially if they have done it before. Som novices take 1 to 2 hours mainly due to getting the adjustment just right for 1st-2nd and Reverse. Audi's design is infinitely adjustable thus making it a little time consuming at times. Sometimes you get lucky and get it the first time.

just received the shift knob yesterday. it took about 20 minutes to install. it feels great especially when combined with a SSK!! i ended up not needing any of the washers/shims included.
