Not bad fellas. When I got dyno'd, a B7 S4 with a full exhaust/tune/intake only managed to put down 247 then he put down a max of 260 IIRC.

    I put down

    240awhp
    277awtq

on 93 octane on a mustang dyno with the mods in my sig. We dynoed the car right after we installed the FMIC, FSI pump and reflashed the car. My mechanic said the numbers will be slightly better once the car fully addapts to the new software and mods.

So I would say your numbers are pretty nice for what you got, now go get some more mods.

    just stock intercoolers.

Every run i did my HP went up by 10! Sucks though the air/fuel ratio would drop off the face of the earth around 5k rpm

The dyno was an AWD dyno

Our buddy James ("B7-Sline") put down 241hp/327tq in his FWD. He's REVO stage 2, TP & exhaust. I think it was a dynojet.

Those definitely seem like good numbers, good stuff. The reason why people want to know what kind of dyno was used (yes, obviously it was awd..) is due to the fact that different dynos read/calibrate differently to give out different HP output's. Without going ridiculously long into it, here's a quick list of types of dynos that run higher in HP output.

-Dynapack (aka hub type dynos) - High
-DynoJet ( roller type, but definitely tends to read high) - High
-Mustang Dyno (we use this) - Low
-Dyno Dynamics (another great dyno) - Low

Agree, and to add to this there is plenty of variation within the same dyno types as well. For example, I have seen a ton of mustang dynos read higher hp numbers then dynojets even though everyone claims the mustang reads low. I've seen them read lower torque numbers but i've done back to back on a couple different mustangs and dynojets and always gotten higher numbers out of the mustang. Same with Shane who took his S4 to a mustang, dynojet, and dyno dynamics. He got his highest numbers on the mustang.

    cheers! Mike

APR stage 2 holds at (1BAR) 14.6psi if I am correct. As for the pump APR says it's good for 25hp/35tq crank.

I was mistaken, it was a Dyno Dynamics dyno. I looked through a bunch of the pics and noticed that right after I said it was a Dyno Jet. Oops

I am in Iraq right now and only drove the car for a week with the boost gauge on while I was on leave, I have to replace the t-fiiting because the needle bounces around so I don't get an accurate reading. But if I remember correctly it peaks at about 20-21psi from 1800-3200rpms then drops to about 17-18psi until 5600rpms then down to 15psi or so at redline. Like I said the gauge isn't very accurate right now.

    You put down good numbers!

To bad James car with REVO put down much better ones.

You might want to see if there is update to your software to get rid of that drop around 5k.

    1. different dyno so no way to compare

    2. it says james has a fwd car so actually if it was on the same dyno it wouldnt be higher numbers

    3. at this point if one chip is putting out significantly more power than another it is probably a car problem rather then anything to do with the chip.

I totally agree, plus weather and alltitude plays a factor in dyno numbers. I dynoed in 90+ degree weather in Louisville, KY. It gets cold at Ft. Campbell so I can't wait until I get home in January and drive in the 10 degree weather.

You might want to see if there is update to your software to get rid of that drop around 5k.
Yeah also drop my AWD and get a FWD! YAY

It was funny, i pulled up next to a E55 when i was taking Steph home and the dude in the E55 looked at me and i reved back at him. He jults his car forward and I do the same. I rev up to 3k, light turns green and BAM! I take ooffffff ESP kicks in and i'm still fly'n! Steph and I look back at the E55 and the back end just brakes loose and we laugh all the way home. After we get about 10-14 car legnths away i let way off cause we both realized that AWD just PWNED a E55 AMG and you can see the E55 running up to us! passes me going like 30mph over what I was doing (i was going the speed limit). Steph and i just laughed! (she drives a Silver 2.0T and now wants to modify her car, lol)

    Sorry, same dyno, same day.

I tuned James car to be on the aggressive side so he can best Sexican, I know them both, & was giving him a hard time. James has the STG II flash also, that does do at least 10% then the STG I flash.

LOL, that explains it. I was going to ask what you had under your hood because the E55 is a high-11s, low12s car. The AMG sedans provide eye-popping performance and comfort on a dry road.

Ok, right on. Sexican being AWD though should be making 10% less than James just to be "even" with him. So it looks like his stage I is putting out about what James' stage II is putting out...or even more actually. That's pretty good!

    cheers! Mike
