    Need some help...

    Hey,
Its been a while since i made a thread but I had a few quick questions about upgrading the turbo. My clutch just recently went and I am in the process of buying my new one. Problem is it's a stage 4 clutch and I want a turbo to make some hp to match. I have $3000 left to spend on a BT. I already have a fmic, testpipe etc.. so I just wanted to see what my best bet would be. I also would be willing to buy a used kit. Should I buy the hardware from atp and have EPL in startford tune? All opinions welcome!

    Re: Need some help...

If you have 3k to spend your best bet would be to go with the GTRS Complete kit with Revo tuning. This is a tried and true kit that you can install yourself and drive off later that day. This kit has the potential to bring you to the limit of the stock engine. If you want to spend a little more, another tried and true kit is the APR 3+.

If you are looking for something different such as a 2871, 3071 etc your going to need to do a lot more work in terms of components (intake? MAF? external or internal WG? rods? etc...) Also, if you plan to bring it to Tony at EPL you have to figure in down time for the car.

Yeah I'm looking for something not too crazy but enough to put a smile on my face. In terms of install, are there any write ups online?
