Cooling Mist isn't the company to buy a WI kit from

After 15 or so e-mails they have decided not to help me by replacing my failed controller. http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=237250 They are saying because I bought it from a different company that their lifetime warranty is void and aren't willing to replace mine just to keep a satisfied customer. I would avoid this company and go with Devils Own or Snow performance! I think I might just install a Hobbs switch to run my pump.

Re: Cooling Mist isn't the company to buy a WI kit from

It's a great product, but I can't believe he won't help me out. I bought the kit from Enginerunup around tax time and they have since gone out of business. So I have a kit that's less then 7-8 months old and I didn't install it for 2 months. So really I have a 5-6 month old kit with about 3k miles on it (mostly highway) with a bad controller and he won't pony up and replace it because he said the guy I bought it from bought a bunch of them cheap but said he'd accept the responsiblity of the warranty, even though if purchased thru them they offer a LIFETIME warranty. Just bad business if you ask me. A cont. is about $250 and probably costs him about $100-150 tops. I figured that he'd be cool and replace it for customer satisfaction, not say you're fucked, sorry. Last thing I told him is that I was going to spead the word, so to anyone interested in or knows domeone who's interested in a WI kit, tell them to go elsewhere. Snow Performance or Devils Own.
