The cold is here! (rant about toronto drivers too)

Well, i know its been a while since i have been on here but i have been pretty busy with school and havent had much time to come on here.

Now, i had to make a thread beucase i was jsut out driving lastnight and this morning and i must say as much as i hate winter and the cold weather: I LOVE THE COLD. The car runs so crisp its reduclious. The FIMC has the air so cold it feels great. Now, my car with stock turbo, is faster then stock S4's and im pretty happy about that beucase its got 1L of displacment and a turbo on me, yet i can now inch ahead of them (havent tired in cold weather mind you)

Oh, and i have to say, what the hell is going with all the dam drivers in this city? Traffic is getting crazy everywhere at all times of the day. Tons of people are driving under the limit and tis starting to drive me crazy, and dont even get me started on those elderly drivers! The drivers in this city are so shit i dont even know how most of them have a licence. END RANT

I find most people driving in the passing lane on a permanent and slow basis are:

A) Talking on the phone
B) Talking to everyone in the car with waving hands
C) Thinking that going 10-20% over the legal speed qualifies them to be in the lane.
D) All of the above.

I love it in the winter with fresh snow on the highways...make your own lane on the left, put your flashers on and rip it besides everyone...leaving them in your snow tailwind.

Yeah!?, try driving in Vancouver with all the Chinese people who paid for their drivers licence.

Before someone starts crying that I'm being racist or ignorant, the fact is 90% of the time when someone does something stupid on the road in front of me or around me......they are Chinese!

The rest of the time these bad drivers are too young/old to know any better, or they're driving a taxi.....which is quite pathetic considering that a taxi driver's job is DRIVING.....and they still SUCK!

Over-all driving in Vancouver has gotten to be VERY risky in the past 10 to 15 years with all these new/poor drivers on the road. I'm beginning to think they have lowered the criteria/price for getting a drivers licence.

There are more Chinese people in GTA than anywhere else in North America. Whatever you see out there, we get it worse.

I have yet to drive out of Pac mall without having to honk at anybody it's hilarious.......sometimes.

And yes traffic in the morning is ridiculous, having to drive downtown from the east end use to be a decent drive. Nowadays it's impossible to avoid traffic and I've got a bunch of different routes that I take if one is backed up..

and to add another annoying thing that idiot drivers do: Braking every 10 seconds while the car in front of them is like 3 cars up ahead of them!! I understand that they're trying to avoid tailing the person but a 3 car GAP!?!?!

When I was learning to drive I was always taught to use my mirrors, and check them on a regular basis while driving so as to always be aware of what is happening around me. It seems to me that when certain people get in to their cars they become oblivious to their surroundings and all other drivers.

Using a signal apparently has also become optional in Vancouver, and what's the deal with people having to cross three lanes of traffic so that they don't miss their turn?.....they should have changed in to the appropriate lane well in advance of where they needed to make a turn.....THINK AHEAD MORONS!
