Car got vandalized

i was at a relative's house yesterday about 15minutes later came out car was no where to be found but i found the parts for the key hole on the ground so i knew they got me. About four hours later i recovered the car they couldn't start the car so they pushed it with another car.

Have you had any chance to troubleshoot the issue with it starting? Perhaps they jacked up the wiring when they started it.

At first I couldn't understand how they stole it but, I just realized that only 2002+ A6 cars had immobilizer.

I feel for you. there was a passat stolen in nj afew weeks ago but was found by police. they broke the lock and left the pieces on the floor where the car was parked.

My car does have an immobolizer so they broke the ignition to free the steering wheel and used a second car to push it.

Yes the amber lenses took 2 minutes but taking both headlights off the car took us an hr & a half.

I don't think he was referring to taking out the amber lenses in 2 minutes. He was talkin about prying the entire headlight out. im sure all they wanted were the HID's they didnt care about the housing.

Dayo, look at the bright side, atleast the car will now get a fresh make over.
But it still sucks, feelin violated and all.

So what are you having done in body shop? You doing the front bumper you posted? Stock HID headlights?
I think C5 fogs are same throughout 2000 to 2004. 2002 had changes in front, but I think not to fogs, but don't rely on me for this (check part numbers on Audi parts website).

no i'm not doing the bumper i posted we trying different ideas but the fogs are different in 02 i just wanted to know if the fogs grilles would fit on a 01 i would rather for it to be bigger than smaller if anything. Adjustment could be made if bigger.
