Does raising/lowering effect handling & ride?

Ok this might seem like a silly question, but when it comes to coilovers, I am a silly person. Aside from the obvious like rubbing issues and road obstacles damaging car from being too low, what other effects can lowering or raising a car have? I'm guessing lowering can decrease body roll, is this the case and does handling improve in general? Also does the car become more bouncy and stiff when lowered more?

I have my car at 25.5" front and 26" rear and the difference is bugging me. I'm thinking either making it 25.5" all around or raising the front to 25.75" for the "conservative street setup". Any opinions?

    TIA

    *I searched no luck.

You have a side shot of the car? Im at 25 on each corner and was thinking of raising a bit.

Btw....This is side shot at 25" all around.

Looks good... It's nice to have a little bit of a rake angle. There is a reason why stasis has the adjustments preset. You will have better performance at the ride height you currently have, in comparison to where I am.

Spp installed my coilovers, and Eric was trying to talk me into leaving the stasis presets, but I wanted the "no gap" look. He also went on to mention that people who have had the slammed look, but switched to the "conservative street setup", have commented on how much better the car actually drives. I believe it! That's why I was thinking of bumping up a bit. I'm just torn between looks and performance at this point.

Good luck with your choice though.

That's funny I actually ordered my Stasis SS from Eric, nice guy and quick delivery.

So my thoughts were true but would 25.5" all around be noticeably different than 25.75" front and 26" rear in terms of ride quality? Anyone tried both? (The first is closer to aggressive street setup and the second is the conservative one according to stasis.)

Unlike what most people think, lower isn't always better. My car needs to come up a little for it to handle better.
Papachristou: i just said "yeah well you are still driving a neon, and she still wants to ride in my car"
