    wheel spacer question.

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Offset: 37mm
    Backspacing: 6.26"
    Bolt Pattern: 5-112
    Rec. Tire Size:235/35-19
    Weight: 29.6lbs.

those are the dimensions of my rims and after dropping the car on bilstein sport/neuspeed race, the inside sidewall of my tire is getting chewed up by my upright or control arms not sure what.

so my question is what size spacer should i get? i don't wanna go to far out so as to hit the outer fender....., or what other fixes are there to this problem? car has been aligned already right after the drop less than 4 months ago, everything was spec or within spec........

TIA for any help. i searched but saw a sea of posts about new wheels, and pictures. i need numbers.

edit: just to throw it out there, i'm only having problems with the front tires.rears are fine.

    Re: wheel spacer question.

id say get it on a lift and verify exactly what is rubbing at maximum steer (lock to lock). possible options include

Spacers: 10mm would most likely be safe. Make sure to get Hub Centric. H&R's are good.

Wheel Stop: Must be welded. Will reduce your steering radius. Unsightly if not done properly.

Notching: grind down the section (of control arm or suspension component) that makes contact with the wheel/tire assembly. Depending on clearance needed, may hinder structural integrity of component.

And your last option: Let me take those wheels off your hands and ill give you my oem sport package 16's.

i guess i'm just gonna try the 10mm spacers. don't really want to grind away at any of my suspension components and don't really want to do wheel stops.

and thanx for the offer but i already have sport 16" rims sitting in the garage.
