CEL stuck??

I had a bad coil pack 6 days ago and obviously a flashing CEL then Solid CEL. Well, I waited 5 "cycles" of ON/OFF, unplugged the battery and I still get that annoying solid CEL. No VAG available right now, what should I do to get rid of it? Thanks.

only way i know is vag, a code clearer at autozone or dealer ftl.

if youve truely fixed the issue, the CEL will eventually go away if you just keep driving.

Its been a week, its still there.. I will have to take it in on monday and check/clear the codes. Wont be the dealer though, I hate Audi dealers. They just happen to suck.

I thought about that, but then whats the chances of something else going wrong at the exact time the coil pack did, same day. Will find out monday I guess.

so? ive cleared an O2 sensor code before and it was off for 3 weeks. it all depends on the type of driving you do and at what point during driving the readiness monitors test the system.

The CEL is still on? I wish we could get my vag-com to work on your car! We could try again if you want.

I just got back from Toronto, my friend bought a nice car .BMW M3 smg.

M3 SMG? Am jealous. Unless my B6 quits having problem, which I highly doubt, am going with something else next purchase.

Am trying to research whats with the VAG and the 2002 models. I will let you know if I find something else we could try other than the radio fuse...
