    Car back from DRC repair

Penske took great care of my car while it was in their hands and the car rides like it actually never did before. If you have never been to Penske, you should treat yourself and your car to what it actually deserves.

BTW, I don't think that there is anyone as picky as I am when it comes to my cars, so that being said, I am pretty hard to please. Penske pleased me!

Glad to hear everything worked out well Ed. Those Penske guys always do my car well also.

I thought everyone at the Wednesday GTG was trying to convince you to upgrade to Stasis C/O's while you had the car in!

Re: Car back from DRC repair

who was your service advisor at Penske? I am going in on the 13th, want to have them look at the DRC and take care of the fuel pressure sensor recall. Was your DRC leaking? If so, what was Penske's turnaround time if you do't mind me asking?

also, where is the get together on Wednesdays? I would really like to meet some fellow RS4 owners.
    Thanks

    Saif

    1. Jason and take a look at the DRC yourself before you go in. You don't want to take the car in complaining about your suspension without knowing for sure that you have a problem. Have you received a letter for the recall? I haven't heard of a recall as I have not received a letter from Audi. I don't know if Audi will replace your fuel sensor if it is working properly. There may be a TSB out on it but that would pertain to a faulty one.

I can't afford it at the moment. between the car, house, nanny and my heavy cocaine habit. I don't have any cash left.

Thanks for the info. I have H-sport sways that they are going to install, so since everything will be off anyway, and will have them take a look.

Warranty covered the work. I didn't spring for the coilovers as I really don't want to shell out 4k for a new suspension. If it fails again, I'll have the dealer order a new DRC system and a new Stasis MS system, toss on the MS's and toss the new DRC in the trunk. If they can't do that, then I'll have the dealer replace the DRC, purchase the MS from somewhere else and install it myself. Want to make sure that I have a fully working DRC system to put back on the car if it ever gets sold.

I didn't really have a stronge case with it being a first time failure so i jsut let them fix the problem.
