Is anyone on here a Purdue student, or in West Lafayette or Lafayette? I'm a freshmen from Southern California and wanted to scope out whats going here.

From what I hear theres a few nice cars in the area. My buddy goes to Purdue. If you only want to meed Audi people then I dunno whats out there. But he drives a white 2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS coupe and has an '01 Blue 4 door he uses for rally cross. He also knows quite a few people there. His name is Elliott. If you run into him anywhere say hi and tell him you talked to Devin and that you were looking to meet some people in the area. He's a pretty cool guy.

Im at purdue of indianapolis! You arent too far to come out for some meets we have at epworks. We are all going to louisville next weekend for the big annual bbq there.

Well I live at the Boilermarket apt area... so i dont drive around much, I just walk to all my classes / take the bus.

I live in Lafayette and have a black 99.5 A4 Avant. I'd love to meet a few more Audis in the area. I know a couple more owners around here. One has an older red wagon (don't know the Audi models before '95) and the head of the School of Science has a tan A6 2.7T 6 speed and a VAG-COM that I am currently borrowing. Let me know and I'll let those two guys know. I know them from the Audi Club of America - Indy chapter email list.

Im not down at purdue, but my sister does live there. Theres a few vw guys down there that meet up. Not sure if any are on here though. I live about an hour and fifteen minutes north. If you do have a GTG i would be down for a little cruise down to meet up with some new people.

Quick question.
I'm about to pull the trigger on getting some 19" VMR wheels.....
Any of you guys running 19" wheels?? If you are, have you damaged the wheels at all? I've found the roads here in West Lafayette is pretty bad....Bumps here and there...I'm afraid I might bend my wheels as soon as I get them haha...
My OEM wheels are fucked up right now from driving in Manhattan/Chicago/West Lafayette for the past 3 years!!

hahaha man i've noticed the bad roads too. im just powdercoating my stock 18s when I get the chance when i go home before i bring the TT back here.......does anyone know of any good shops in the Purdue area too?

I mean i know my way around, kinda, but i'm just afraid my wheels will be damaged after rolling over rough roads EVERYDAY.

not really sure about powder coating but i know Chicago Performance is a great Audi shop. The owner KNOWS audis.
I'm sure they can powder coat your wheels or tell you about a shop they deal with.
