    Hey Guys!

Desided today that I need a new prodject. So I went to one of Swedens best audio shops that we have in the small town i live in. Went in for 45 minutes and went out with a wallet (well read card:-P) that was alot lighter.

    The shopping list:

    1x Alpine PDX 1.600
    1x Alpine PDX 4.100
    4x Infinity Kappa 60.9 (6.5" komponent speakers)
    1x MTX T7500 Sledgehammer
    1x 15ft 35mm2 powercable (silver)
    1x 5ft 35mm2 gnd-cable (blue)
    1x 50ft 2.5mm2 Speakercable (white)
2x 15ft Double Screen Gold Plated Phono Cable (blue)
1x Pair Battery terminal for 35mmsq cable
11x RNS-e Phonolead connector (Kufatec special)

    total cost $3600.
    Soundstuff aint cheep

    Picturemode! :D (Clickable)

Only got the cable with me. The otherstuff was on backorder.

    Its a snake!

    equal size! :)

It will be intersting to feed this through the rubber-plastic-door-cable-thing...

The stereoend of the Kufatec Phonocable-plug adapter.

The other end. (think its a remote, the thin red wire, but i dont know... time will tell:P)

    The battery terminals.

Will keep you updated when i start ripping the interior tomorrow (or tonight if i feel that i cant wait!)

    Cheers!

Damn, stuff in Sweden is uber expensive. We can get all that here in the U.S. for about a grand depending on where you buy.

p.s. I would cancel your order on the second set of Kappas as they will only draw the sound stage behind you. Just my unsolicited .02 :)

i hope the conversion rate makes that sound a little more reasonable. for that kinda cash one could buy a k04 kit for the a3.

    Re: A little $3.6k lunch shopping :)

well it werent that expensive in sweden. Its just the low dollar that make everything here rediculus expensive for you american. But on the other hand everything in america is realy cheep for us in sweden.

But i think car stuff in general is cheeper in the statse cuz you have a bigger market.

And to get prospectives on it all, im 19 and i make about $4k. a month. So its about a month sallery that i just put down. But as i said. I like having things to do :)

    Cheers

    Re: A little $3.6k lunch shopping :)

    Pictures! =)

Since there allready exist a writeup on how to change speakers im not going to bother about that. But here is the rest of my install:

The new floor for the trunk.

The Workspace. Take what you got ;)

I made a bottom to screw the amps and the capasitator to. Used the spare-wheel-cover as a template.

    Draw the line.

    Cut it out.

Make sure it fit. (And it did, perfekt)

Cut the fabric with a margin at an inc.

    Spra
    y on the glue.

    Cut the excess.

    Voila!

    Dinnertime! Gummibears and Club soda.

    The install is done.

    Another pic.

Tomorrow im picking up a 12" MTX 7500 Sledghammer. Will post a pic with that to.

Think the whole install took about 27hour. But it where worth every minute (and bruce) of the 27hour :)

Cheers! too bad youtube dont reflect sound that well :P
