    wheels 9.5" up front?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Ok so the wheels i have now are 18x9 with 35ET , and no issues so, do you think i could fit 19x9.5 with 35ET in the same wheels up front, i no the back will work, but what about the front.....hmmmmmmm????? or do you guys think that 18" in the picture is big enough and i should just put some spacers in the back for next summer???

    Re: wheels 9.5" up front?

I personally think the 18s look great. I would worry about 19x9.5 rubbing. Do you have more pics? what do you have for suspension on this bad boy?

Frank-- I think 18's look great on your car.. If you go with 19's your ride is going to be hard..

    I have 19x9.5s all around with 5mm H&R spacers.
No rub, no issues other than the stares and "Looks great!" comments from onlookers.

Then again, I have the C5 A6 4.2Q, so maybe the widebody accommodates a little more wheelspace.

like VJ said -- that's an easy question; you'd be riding on a rubber band with wheels not conforming with your suspension set-up. C5 engineered for 16-18, no?

Hey Frank, looks like you've got a fleet of vehicles per your profile. Any pix of them? Maybe borrow a camera somewhere ( ) and post a couple shots?

    Catback project is delayed...

Ya, I've been looking at similar setup

    19X8.5 on 245/35/19 up front
19X9.5 on 275/30/19 in the back

    all have a +35 offset

Eibach Prokit setup with Koni FSD

    on a 2000 2.7T non sport package

Most ppl tell me that if it does work, it will be a tight fit. I wanna do it but I just don't know.

    what do you guys think?

    Re: wheels 9.5" up front?

well i know for sure that 9.5 up front wont rub fenders if they rub the control arms, then i will get 5mm spacers all around and call it day....good to go.

Oh and BTW deucescorner...i had 18x9 with 35ET's and its very far from rubbing, get them you will be fine.

If your gonna get 5mm spacers on a +35 offset 19" wheel won't that rub against the fenders in the back?

I've keep looking between 18"(conservative and keeping comfort) but man 19" just look so sexy on a C5
