stg 2 1/4 times?

stg 2 with giac chip plus race gas program, 2000 s4 6spd , what should I run in the 1/4 mile? Im thinkin somewhere around low 13's?? what rpm should i launch it at i have a rs4 clutch and know how to launch it. Reason im askin is ive never been to the track thnx.

I went to the track for the first time last month....

It took me a while to get use to it, I ran a 14.00, then blew my tranny and still ran a 14.3..it was an expensive joy ride, but I'd say you should run mid 13's.

Not to scare you though, just that I baby my car way to much to go out and do five pulls redlining the car. I guess on the bright side I have an RS4 clutch now...

Vag your car and make sure no DTCs or boost issues before you make some 1/4mile passes.

What was your 60" ? 14.3 sounds like a stock 6spd #.

I dont remember off top my head, but I think it was 2.1

I dont have any codes in vag. my boost issue is I was running n75 with mbc and plugged the vent hole and after that it woudlnt boost higher then 13psi and was jumpy.

I had a cheap mbc off ebay. Since then I bought a vast mbc and went standalone. now its boosting to 15 psi nice and smooth.

my old imola s4 stage 1, I believe I ran a 13.2 @105mph(5 years ago) so a stage 2 will do pretty much the same as the cats right after the turbo's are the biggest restriction. I don't see a cat back helping as much as a full turbo back.

You will definitely be in the low 13's if everything is running in good condition.

I ran a 13.4 with a chip, went back with ssautochrome turboback and ran 13.4, went back with giac, ebay fmic and dvs, and ssauto exhaust ran 13.4. 13.4 were my best runs everytime seems like i cant break it and all 1.8 60's. But the last time I went with the fmic and dvs i had huge leaks in my fmic piping its fixed now and didnt really notice a difference.

My 0-60 was around 4.6ish, but that was calculated using 1/8 mile information.

I did 13.4 with a 1.9** 60". Temperature was like 80 and I was on pump.

Stage 2 Tip should be able to do flat mid 13's. I found my 1/4mile times were relatively consistent as not much driver skills are required.
