    boost... 22psi in 3rd 24 psi in 5th?

    i was just checking to see where boost is at tonight and in 5th gear it was going up to 24 .. and in 6th it was going up to 25....3rd gear is at 22psi.. and i have a MBC which i (thought) i had set to 22.. i don't get it. is it because i don't have a TCD?

    That's what MBCs do... they are affected by load. And a higher gear has more load.

    Boost will also be lower in 1st and 2nd.

    so is that safe? should i go with a straight n75 valve? i can't afford to have my car go BOOM! so i'd like to know.
