OH yes it is. I was at the dealership last month getting new tires and an alignment and they fired up the R8 to move it. My jaw dropped. It was so friggen bad-ass.

The only thing better than the pic of an R8 is hearing it at full song down the backstretch at Road Atlanta. Can't wait to hear one again this year (yes, I'm sure there will be at least one there this year).

it's shaped like supercar, has very large engine like supercar, mid-engine like supercar, goes fast like supercar, therefore.. supercar. Especially when it has a V10 version that is the same engine in the Lamborghini Gallardo. I've also heard it's based on the same platform as the Gallardo. And then when they come out with the V12 TDI... can't say that isn't a supercar. Call it what you want... "luxury sports car" or whatever, but i still say it's a supercar because it's definitely not your average luxury sports car. If anything we can compromise and say it falls in the middle. But either way the Pagani Zonda kicks major ass.

Reminds me of when I thought my neighborhood was boring and of no interested to High End cars like the R8 was when my brother called me to tell me there is a R8 getting a photoshoot a few blocks away!!!

That was before it was even released!!! It was for some magazine.
The guy there let me hop in the passengers seat, hear the car from the inside and even launched it a few times when i was there. Puts you back in the seat, just amazing!
