I own a '98 audi a4 2.8 5spd dark blue w. 129k in great condition. What sounds like a fair selling price?

payed 4600 for my 99.5 with 1k less miles did have a rust spot on the drivers side rear door but a new door fixed that and I did the timing belt because I wasn't sure if the guy was telling the truth about doing it or not. Also tie rod ends and rear wheel bearing. The timing belt wasn't bad when I got in there so I could have waited till it was supposedly due. If yours is better condition and more maintained I would say start at 5500 and go down from there.

no issues at all. I'm not selling yet for sure I'm just wondering what people on this forum would be a great price because my plan was to sell the car and add in the money I've said to buy a B5 S4 that I'm looking at.

I'd start around 6..see what happens. More than likely you'll get closer to 5k for it..

I would say it will be closer to 5k by the time your done, don't be surprised if it takes a while to sell either.

6k!!! that is too much. high mileage. ten year old car. start at $5k.
