Been needing to get rid of some small single 2.25" piping in the center of my exhaust as well as the center muffler soooo finally took the time to redo it

    Before

    After

    Bigger #2

Didnt get a chance to put it on tonight, wanted to get the hell out of the shop. Finally got the adaptor plate back from our machinest. 2.5" stock throttle body - gone, R32 3.25" - in!

Trying to get everything last little thing taken care of, going to hopefully get to the dyno next week!

Looking good hombre. Do they mass produce the backing plates for the R32 TB, I would think more people would be interested in that?

What good is the .:R throttle body gonna do? The opening for the intake manifold is still 2.5".

I am going to be selling the adaptor plates after I verify fitment and get the bolts needed. Issam nor 034 makes a plate for the R32 TB, only the 3" 24v VR6

It can be machined out larger, almost to 3" ID. The R32 is 3.25" OD so they will match up pretty close. I do plan to make my own intake mani but not right now, going to put the TB on the stock manifold for the time being

glad to see that you've finally stepped up to an appropriately sized TB... now get crackin on that IM.

and you're still doing it wrong with that exhaust... you left all that extra piping in there!! it's SUPPOSED to look like this:

really though, you'll love the .:R32 TB. im positive that my TB and IM are pulling a few extra ponies out at the moment, even on such low boost. I can't wait to see the gains (as compared to other people's setups) later on

ninja edit --- i was seriously about to post up asking why the hell it was so much easier for you to make the bends to your mufflers... then i realized that you're missing a rear diff and axles bahaha.

yeah, i wish there was - but we decided that it's no more of a restriction than any other muffler - especially being on the very end of the exhaust stream. since there's two channels through the muffler and it's a relatively smooth transition from 3" down to the dual 2.25 i think it's ok.

how we got it to 3" without splitting it -- i do not know lol

welding is fun shit. my buddies and I have been ganking all the scrap metal from work that we can and we're just welding it all together into one big... thing.

I feel like you need a smooth transition from that 3.25" TB to the 2.5" adapter plate, otherwise the flow would be really messed up in that area.

Maybe it was a mistake in communication but I am pretty sure I told you it was a custom order with 5-7 business day lead time @ 85US shipped/adapter plate.
    Whatever the case good luck.
