For those who may be in the market for the magnaflow exhaust system performance peddler had them listed for 589.10, now their website shows 863 IIRC. Anyways I contacted performance peddler and tyhe gave me this discount coupon to use to get the original price of 589.10 and authorized me to post it. This is the cheapest price I could fine online. Coupon code for those who might be interested is bestoffer4em. I'll be ordering from them tomorrow. Quick question, I'm thinking of going with 16601 but whats the difference between the 16601 and the 16600 series. Is it that the 16601 is louder than the 16600 series? Thanks..

i belieive one is for FWD and one is quattro. if i remember right the 16601 is quattro. and yes, it does matter.

Nevermind about the 16601 vs. the 16600 question. Just went back to their website and it appears the 16601 is for the awd and the 16600 is for the fwd.

yes its a downpipe back but it works very well

yep it includes everything but the cat and downpipe.

i installed mine a couple weeks ago. I love the sound, it's perfect IMO. Very nice tone when you're WOT and it's not too loud at all under normal driving conditions. One thing to keep in mind is the tips do not line up well at all. I'm super anal about this kind of stuff, so for me i couldn't leave it that way. I ended up taking it to a shop and had it straightened out for another $100. It required them to cut off the magnaflow hangers and weld there own on. I'm quite happy with the results now though.

NO, the magnaflow don't come with the downpipe, but you can get TT downpipe that will fit for this system.

Care to explain the TT downpipe a little more? The chassis is completely different and the engine is mounted transversely compared to our longitudinal layout. EDIT: From a little bit of searching around, the TT downpipe does actually fit, very odd coincidence. Now the question beckoning to be answered, is it that much better than the stock B6 downpipe?

its not much of a deference, but its 2 1/2 compare to i believe its 2 1/4.
