    Re: studdering car

You might want to be more specific. Is this during accel, braking, building boost, after venting a bov, wot, cruising, etc?

do a search on "lurching, surging"

    Re: studdering car

while its sitting at idle. AT park it does it also and when its in drive it does it also ive taken it to a shop and they replaces the Thermal plug and a vaccume line and also the tension cam gear and replaced the gaskets and it still idles rough. It dosent seem to have a problem acclerating and it runs fine while driving. It just has a rough idle like i said. ive gone through most of the topics and have found no answers to my question.

    Re: studdering car

Are you idling at a low rpm? like <600?

On the Talon, there was a screw somewhere you could turn to adjust the rpm setting at idle. I'm really not sure about the A4 or if this is even your issue.
