4 Hercules Avalanche Winter tires

My neighbour is moving to Cali and has these tires available for sale off of his A4 Avant. I think they are 235/45/17.

They were used for one winter and he paid around $650 for them.
Asking $500. He's moving in 10 days.

I've never heard of this brand of tires. Any one know how good they are vs the big boy like dunlop and michelin etc?

My father in law has the truck version on his Ram and in Barrie Winters they are unstoppable.

they work good, very deep lugs and a bit harder so they aren't the best on ice but work really well in deep snow...plus they last really long.
