only if you are really low. my wheels are that size and the face of the wheel is exactly flush with the widest point of the fender

Yours are +35, Alan? I'll have to look closer next time I see you.

    Re: Avant wheel fitment

pretty sure. my old black wheels were +38 and they were tucked in a few more millimeters than my rs4 reps.

it doesn't say the offset anywhere on my rs4s but they are flush with the fender just like my old +35 fliks.

Got a set of Moven's that are 18 x 8.5 w/ ET 35 and no probs at all (stock suspension also) - as long as you don't go too low, you s/b ok w/ your wheels. BTW, this wheel width & ET results in a great stance. G/L and enjoy!

    Rides:
    '06 S4 Avant, silver/black w/ alcantara, w/ V8 goodness - new DD (finally back in an S!)
    '07 A4 Avant 2.0TQ S-line & Ti, I-white/black (unicorn?) - w/ APR goodness, old DD, now beach-mobile

    Previous:
    '01.5 S4 Avant, Silver/Onyx (Sold...miss it a whole lot )
    '98 BMW 328ic, Cosmos/Grey/Black (Sold...miss this one a whole lot, too)

You will have no problems as long as you stick with a 235 series tire and don't slam your car to the ground.

Flush to the fender would be ET32 so ET35 gives you 3mm of clearance which is huge.

235 seems kinda thin for an 8.5? Maybe 255?

    Re: Avant wheel fitment

235 is perfect for a 8.5" wide wheel.

the 255 will be way too wide and you'll rub with an ET35 offset
