I asked this question about three weeks ago and never got a response. I, so far, have my Sirius tuner for the Avic wired to the shark fin. It was easy. All you have to do is cut the plastic from around that connector (the green one) in the trunk and just plug it in and make sure you have the unit secured to the OEM Sirius tuner plate holder. I drilled 4 new holes in it and screwed it down. As for power, I hooked in an extension using spare speaker wire off some 12V constant wires from the deck and ran them all the way to the trunk. It wasn't too hard and now everything works fine.
I read on Avic411.com that you can just splice the Pioneer one into the OEM one. I'm just not exactly sure where the OEM one is. I wasn't able to find it behind my HU, but then again, I didn't look real hard (I know it's there) For now, I have the Pioneer one ran all the way to the rear deck secured near the brake light. It's not real noticeable.
