    All season tire recommendations

    im looking for a set of tires for my 04 A4 Ultrasport. Its my daily driver and i put a ton of miles on it so i need tiers that are going to be good in all weather conditions but most importantly that bad conditions that we in jersey are used too. The oem size is 235-40-18 but I would like to go a little bit wider so I have more of a contact patch, so I would be looking for a 245-40/45- 18. Im not sure if I would be able to go this wide as I have 15mm spacers all around on Os EM USP wheels (42 offset i think).

    Im looking at the;
    Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus
    Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position
    Eagle F1 All Season

    All are similiar but the michelins have a more agressive tread pattern but I guess thats what you get with the price!!

    What do you guys think with those?
    Also any other opions would be appreciated!!

    Thanks in advance!!!

    Re: All season tire recommendations

    For NJ, it would probably be better if you could switch between winter and summer tires since almost all summer tires are also very decent in the rain. Snow would be your biggest problem with a summer tire.

    Of the 3 you listed, we've gotten a lot of good feedback regarding the goodyears, which have a fairly stiff sidewall.

    Re: All season tire recommendations

    Michelin's were the best handling tire we tested on the track, with the Bridgestones a close second. I thought the wet traction was a little weak on the Goodyears. If you need the most grip, the Michelins are the best, but would be a little noisier (and also a little less durable) than the Bridgestones IMO.
