    Any news on the APR S3 K04 Kit?

    I talked to APR a while ago and they said around Thanksgiving. Anyone know if it will break the 300WHP mark?? If we have APR 93 Program and FSI Pump is it will we be able to just update the software? Any ideas on price? Hopefully APR can chime in. Pete...

    I have that advertisement which shows their dyno chart at 323 HP and 338 torque. You get all that torque from around 3100 to about 5500 when it drops off. 5500 is where you get the peak HP.

    I was talking to Vast Performance and Stasis about sponserships but Stasis couldn't work with a Tiptronic and im not all that crazy about Vast, No ecu upgrade not as proven as i want etc...

    Keith said at H20 that they are having trouble with IATs being too high, and the kit right now will require an intercooler. He said right now all they have is a "safe" tune that puts out 228whp. And yes, those quoted numbers are crank hp.

    The S3 KO4 kit on a quattro car will not put out 323 WHP it will only have 340 crank HP. Their Garrett based kit will put out higher numbers.

    APR said the Ko4 kit will have 340crank hp so I think you will get close to 300whp prob about 280-290whp

    The new K04 should be able to reach 300whp no problem. based on what i was told from Keith at APR. As soon as its tested I am getting the first kit, according to him, because i have the old K04 that was never truly tuned for my car. SO to make it right we worked out a deal to swap the turbos etc... I will let you all know as soon as i hear something from him. I know the intercooler thing was the biggest problem. Maybe Keith will chime in here....

    They will be offering the intercooler with the kit. Thats why the kit is taking soooo long. I am sure someone from APR will chime in soon.

    Waiting for APR to chime in!!! All in need is the Turbo, Manifold, Injectors and Reflash. I have everything else. Working full time to buy this kit!!
