wheels often change their shade when spokes are added...you have to spread the paint around and it thins out.

Cool car. Why not the lower fog grilles? FMIC piping? Might look alot better if you customed them to fit.

    Re: Car finally coming together.

    Looks great!

Why is there a huge gap between the headlights, center grille and bumper? Looks like your bumper struts can move up a tad.

If you see any fat fives around let me know. I might need a set as winter tires to clear the new brakes I'm thinking of.

Yes we really need to get a photoshoot together!

On one side the innercooler pipe from the tb to the core is in the way, on the other side the light is hitting my TIP. I need to get a full day to finally get those lights to fit right. The bixenon lights are deeper then stock a4 lights making it more difficult misalligning them.

We should shoot for later this month. I'll be in touch.

What core and piping is that? custom piping?

Mine fits fine but it was designed to fit behind the A4/S4 bumper. clicky click kind of hard to see because my piping is black but it all fits with some very minor cutting to the fog light grilles. driver fog light is out because i was glueing new mounts to it.

    Re: Car finally coming together.

    yea your car looks good,
its a custom made, 2.5 inch piping 1 piece each side.

the grilles are gunna be a pain in the ass as well but I just need some time off work and school. I doubt I'll ever be able to fit the fogs themselfs.

how many bolts hold down the lights in total? two on the top of the rad support 1 on the back one on the side? i need that lower peice on the drivers side which you used to level the light.

    Re: Car finally coming together.

I just looked at your pictures again. Your pipes come straight out of the IC pretty far before they turn. That will hinder your ability to get the grilles in place.

There are two screws up top that bolt the lights to the core support. Then two in the back on the bottom that bolt the light to the lower bracket. That lower bracket then bolts to the core support in the front under the headlight in two locations. It has adjustment in those two locations to go up and down. Likewise, your bumper has adjustment where the bumper struts bolt into the core support.

You can kind of see the flat bracket that goes under the headlight on the driver side of this shot on my car. clicky click. The bracket is removed from the passenger side but you can see the two shiny recessed nuts that hold the bracket on for the passenger side. Let me do some digging in iPhoto for some more pictures an then I'll upload them. I can't find any better shots on my flickr account.

Did you get a new core support? I think I remember getting a new hood and radiator in addition to this bumper. Sounds like everything just needs a little TLC with some fine tuning alignment for all the components. I'm around this weekend if you want to figure it out.
