F**k the Stealership!! / Fuel Pump Prob. - Rant!

OK, so I bought a CPO about 2 months ago a 2005 A4 1.8t, when I went to pick it up they told me that they needed to change the fuel filter. they gave me a rental for the day and told me to come back then next day. I came in the following day and they said oh I'm sorry the part that came in didn't work

, so I had to wait another day so they can order another new filter. pick it up the next day and everything is good. Well the other day I started to here a wining sound coming from under the rear passenger seat. I took my car to the steelership, they gave me a rental (a brand new 09 a4) they call me a few hours later and tell me that the fuel pump is on its way out and that it needs to be replaced. they didn't have any in so they had to over night one from LA. So I call them today to check on the status of my car, and they tell me that the new pump that came in was bad right out of the box

, and that they cant get another here until Friday! HOW THE F**K DO YOU HAVE TWO PARTS COME STRAIGHT FROM THE FACTORY BROKEN!!!!?????

To make it worse I'm moving back to FL and I was going to leave tomorrow, but now I cant and I have no place to stay so I have to pay to stay at a hotel for the next 3 nights!

im starting to get a noise.. how loud is it.. if u dont mind.. mines low.. sounds like.. a small small boost leak.. like this --> tishhhhhhh but low low.. like id have to accually go to the back right door to hear it.. i wouldnt hear it from inside the car at all.. is it super loud? cus now im nervous..

Sorry for your issues w/ the stealership...at least they are paying for the repairs AND supplying a very nice loaner car. IIRC, You can write moving expenses off on your taxes (if you itemize) so go ahead and save your hotel receipts.

The new 09 is ok, I like some of the new features, but I rly rly hate the new styling of the car besides the front end. I still <3 my B6!!!

so i found out that this is the 3rd fuel pump that has been in the car. they changed the pump one month before I bought it, witch they never told me until now. hopefully the 4th one works! what world cause the fuel pump to go out any way?

Mine started as a lite hum coming from the back passenger side of the car, but in the last week it got much louder, enough so I could here it will i had the radio on (low vol).

ok So the new pump came in today, they went to install it and.... IT DIDN'T WORK!!!

so this in now the 5th fuel pump that has been in my car. desert Audi is now trying to tell me that is the fuel rail that is causing the problem. Why would you have to go through 5 fuel pump b4 you realized that the pump is not the problem. If you change a light bulb and it goes out right away are your just going to keeping put new light bulbs in or are you going to check the electrical system.
