    Weather Tech Windo Vents??

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Does anyone have these on there car. I'm a person who always has to have the window open. But all the road grim and crap comes in, especially in the rain. So recently purchased them from WeatherTech and not so sure about them. I like the fact that they match my window tint, and they don't need to be put on with double sided tape. The rear ones though, look cheesy i think. And they have to be put on with 2tape.

I'll get a pic up tommorow, just got home and its crappy out!

So my question is keep them or they are just not an audi thing?

Why would you leave your window down in the rain? The humidity would bother me a lot. That's the best time to use AC.

I vote no, I think they are ugly. Send them back!

I don't leave it down, just open a bit. Even in the winter i have a window and the roof open alittle. Just like the fresh air. I'll get pics up tommorow.

If I need fresh air I'll usually tilt the sunroof and crack the rear windows. It gets a decent amount of airflow... On a B5 sedan its a fantastic way to get air, but on the avant it doesnt work as well. It's too bad they don't design these cars with rear (cargo area) side windows that crack open like minivans. That would be great for airflow and my dogs would love it!

    here's some pix of mine

the only problem I have with them is they are pressure fit where the window closes into the sash, what happens sometimes (only when stopped) is the pinch guard activates and the window will go back down 2 or 3 times before it'll close completely, but like I said ONLY when the car is completely stopped, otherwise I like them, and I'm a smoker, and we get alot of inclimate weather so they work for me.

    Nice avant.

The window guards fall into my form over category. I too am a windows down driver and these would be great for inclement weather. I do think they wouldn't look as bad on a sedan.

Sorry got side tracked with my son. He's been sick. These are all i got for now.

They work since it's been cold and crappy in NY past few days. Yes window does stop from going up sometimes but other than that, i like them. Fronts only. The rears look dumb. And no wind noise.
I'M KEEPING THEM FOR THE WINTER!

Nice avant, the tint is great and those window strips blend in well. Looks clean to me

The tint help immensely to make them blend into the windows, but Im still not a fan. If you need to keep the windows open though, I guess that's a good thing to install.
