    Angry Hazy Headlights

I have noticed that both of my front headlight lens are becoming hazy except where the HID beams shine directly through. Took it to the dealer and one SA said it was a chemical reaction that AoA does not cover and another said it was moisture that gets in when you wash your car due to vents for heat exchange in the casing and will burn off after leaving your brights on for 30 minutes. (Tried the lights on for 45 minutes on bright with no change.)

I am curious if this has happened to anyone else? I am about to ruffle feathers...

    Re: Hazy Headlights

Happens to me too. When I got the car the dealer claimed the moisture was a result of the vents and it would go away as well, but never does, it is like that 24/7. Called my local dealer and they too said they wont fix it. So I called AoA and talked to someone who said when I bring it in and make a case that it is a safety issue causing my headlights to not properly illuminate because of the buildup, they will have to replace it. Have my appointment for me 55k inspection in a week ill let you know what happens.

I have a slight haze around the beam itself, I think it more has to due with pitting the housing from driving....

What was the outcome with the dealer? Did they replace it? I have the same problem and my car is still under main warranty.

    Re: Hazy Headlights

My current car's driver side headlamp had moisture in it when I bought it. The car is under warranty. It was replaced.
