    Bsr stage 1??

    Hi guys i was going to this shop in malmo sweden, and talking about this chip, i told the guy if i go this stage can i also upgrade to newer injectors, and he's said no, and if you do the car won't start, is this true or does this guy dont know anything?? http://en.bsr.se/products/t385/

    We have never heard of it because, we are North American centric...Stage 1 for an 1.8T A4 Quattro will bring it up to 230BHP, up from 190BHP. This must be Euro specs since our cars are 170BHP...CLICKY

    Most of us work with APR, GIAC, Neuspeed or REVO.

    From the look of the power map, the tuning has it so HP doesn't peak until 5500 RPMs and peak torque is at 3900 rpms, in comparison to APR's stage 1, which peaks at 4600 rpms, close to when peak torque occurs.

    since i have to ship it and all that would be to headache for me, i wish there an rev0 dealer hear in sweden, there is one i helskinki finland but that is almost 1000 km from me :(.

    I think the only difference between the 170hp and 190hp versions is the ECU and a DSMIC for the latter instead of an SMIC like we get on this side of the pond. The engine and turbo are the same.

    answer:

    no u shouldn't upgrade ur injectors, because that is not a big injector file it is a basic stage 1 chip that just adds boost, it'll start and run but too rich possible will hydro-lock.

    LOL, I highly doubt you could hydro-luck a motort by running to rich

    You'll just get piss gas mileage and eventually destroy your catalytic converter

    why not go with their stage 2 w/ the injectors? From what i have read BSR has a good rep over there and has colaborated with the countries department of roads (similar to US DOT) on several projects. You have limited options given you location. Since they are local to you it would make more sense to work with them vs sending you ECU far away. Atleast if any issues come up you have local help.

    where do you see stage 2 with injectors, i only see injectors for the 150/163 hp.

    keep in mind my motor is BEX
