Hello I was wondering if anyone had shaven their door moldings? I wasnt sure if the panel behind the moldings was flat or if it was indented behind the moldings. Thanks for the help.

Never mind, found the anwser to my question- the door panel is fitted to hold the moldings/trim, would have to bondo and repaint door to delete the pieces.

yep, although it would look good... its a huge waste of money. plenty of better mods to be done. on the flipside though, if your car was getting some paintwork anyway, bumpers rocker panels or painting roof, i would go for it.

i dont find it funny that he doesnt want to remove the mouldings... i think its funny that he said they look 'outstanding'. ive never heard anyone be so passionate about an ugly piece of plastic before. imo, the moulding does not serve a purpose, looks wise or function wise. its just pointless. i liked how on the b5 rs4 there was no moulding, im not sure why they introduced it on the b7 rs4...

Are we talking about the molding or the blades?
