    Are you guys planning on having a dyno day in the near future? Just ran at Revolutions Performance on their dyno dynamics dyno and want to run on a dynojet for comparision.

    we havent spoken about it directly yet, although having said that I think we should be able to do one here in the near future. I am still working some kinks out of my tune and breaking in my engine, so something in the immediate future is out for the time being. Jordan and I have been wanting to compare setups though for quite some time.

    Its just gonna be a little while till I get some more bugs ironed out of the equation. Hopefully over the next week or so (if things go well) a lot of those will be handled. After those events do (or dont) transpire, I will have a much better idea as to when I will be able to hit the dyno!

    I am ready to dyno. I just want temps to drop below 60deg if I'm gonna spend the time and money to do it... I say we all dyno on the same day.

    ya, gonna be at octubberfest regardless (weather permitting of course). Tune is still on hold for some modification...kinda deciding what to do as we speak! I think Todd hit you up on AG about the 25th of this month.

    I am setting up an appt for sat 25th first thing in the morning at MAC auto. If anyone wants to join I'll call and get you in. I am also dyno'n at another dyno in Denver later in the day with Ted.

    Only time I could get in is 2pm and I think that will prolly be ~ the time I will be dyno'n with Ted at the other place. Ted, can I get an idea of what is going down next Sat? (I was the last spot for the day with the dyno Ted is using)

    I am wanting to dyno at both places on the same day to compare results...

    I have to work sat at 2pm, so I am going to be at CarZ earlier in the day to get the dyno done. Looking forward to seeing how this all works out!

    Superflow dyno: (reads between Mustang and Dyno Dynamics)
    Denvernoob (E85) - 321whp 309wtq (sea level corrected)
    CO AVANT (104oct) - 368whp 344wtq (sea level corrected)

    Ted has a lot more tuning to dial in with his custom tune. I have an off the shelf revo bt tune but I also need a custome tune of some sort since I'm running rich in the lower rpms which is effecting my spool up.

    MAC Dynojet (same day)
    CO AVANT - 419whp 397wtq (SAE corrected)
    CO AVANT - 414whp 406wtq

    I'll let the B5 guys post up their #'s and setups...

    Props for doing this comparison.

    A guy I know did a similar comparison dynoing at Revolutions Performance on their Dyno Dynamics and at MAC. His 1/2 corrected DD #s were within 3 of his uncorrected MAC #s. What was the CF at MAC?

    I want to say 1.22-1.24. Need to check my sheets though when I get home. It was ~338whp uncorrected. 80deg in the dyno room. Here is the thread on my setup vs. setups I've had in the past. All on the MAC dyno +/- 10deg in room temps. My uncorrected #'s were ~38whp higher on the dynojet over the superflow dyno. Just goes to show you the difference between dyno's. It's all relative.

    I ended up with 315hp/317tq with correction at MAC. The uncorrected number was 252hp which is just what I dyno'd at Revolutions Performance. All at 20-21psi on 91 oct.

    So you put down ~252whp corrected or uncorrected at revolutions?

    Ya...have had quite a bit of time since then to dial in the tune a bit. A couple of wee-issues remain, and a little more tweaking of the file still needs to be done, but currently the car is at 25psi and holding through about 7500rpm. A couple little rough patches remain in the upper RPM range in 4th gear, but third for the most part is pretty clean. When its nice and cool out I can hold 25psi to redline (7800 rpm)...the intercoolers need quite a bit of work (i.e. need to be replaced) and that is def. the weak point in my build. Regardless the engine is running a LOT stronger than the day Jordan and I were at CarZ on the Superflow dyno. More #s will be coming soon from mine, just need the time to work out a couple more of these little issues!
