Hey guys i am not new to this site i have been monitoring it for quite some time getting information and so on. Currently i have AutoSpeedPerformance working on my car and will be done and dynoed this weekend but i am getting updated pictures of the car in the mid afternoon. I couldn't wait to post cause I'm excited...lol. I will have a gt3071r and hopefully with AutoSpeedPerformance's amazing technicians yield the highest dyno in the country on the stock block, and then highest on built block...

I will keep all you guys updated with the price of the newly created BT kit from AutoSpeedPerformance along with pictures of the car and dyno.

Also in winter AutoSpeedPerformance will be building the block so we can achieve some real power.

I will be also going to Englishtown Raceway Park to see how the car does if anyone wants to meet let me know

That's awesome. I would love to do a big turbo on my car. My last car had almost 300 hp, so I'm really missing the power right now. The only problem is that my A4 is my daily driver and my only car, so I wouldn't want to risk it.

YEA ASP Exhaust is quite raspy and loud especially with turbo back.

My car is the Black 07 with the oettinger front with the blacked out grill

I am waiting on Frank, and Mike from ASP to put together a proposal on the cost of the kit and pictures to update you guys.

pics? so this a totally custom kit? They are doing all the piping, manifold, ecu tuning and everything? very nice! If your going to build the engine why not wait and just put the turbo kit on once the build is done... and then put on a 35r. That would be making real power, a 30 series is cool, but....... a 35 series is cooler!

Well there is a bit of a delay on the project i will be picking up the car next Sat. I will have pictures of the car after the weekend and post them up.

As for the price of the kit we are still working on that.

Also anyone know what the highest stock block dynoed at? SAFELY without knocking

more tuning is need, 350 awhp is kind of low for your engine/turbo combination.
400HPA4's car run on stock motor with 2871R and dyno'd at 323awhp.

I am not sure the limit of stock internals

The clutch is a stg 4 i will give the manufacturer later when we propose the kit. I did get to see pics of the car this evening unfortunately i cant disclose them till everything is put back together but wow is all i can say looks sick.

Does anyone have proof of the 400awhp successful dyno and street driven safely on the stock block. I know that with my set up yielding 350awhp is low but i am not sure what the stock block can handle and i wrather not have a rod go through the side of the block. I can achieve real power after ASP builds the engine in the winter.

if Greg can make 323AWHP on stock 1.8 L motor with GT2871R and other supporting mods from Ecode tuning, the OP can easily make 370AWHP at least. I don't know the limit on stock internals.

ur partially correct and incorrect... but peak horsepower/torque can remain the same on both cars but one of them still being faster because again and again and again it's all about how long the hp/tq holds on the power band and where.

same applies to 2.0 vs 1.8... it's possible they create the same peak hp/tq... but i assume the 2.0t will prevail overall.

So what's the consensus, how much power you guys think is satisfactory?

Tuning will begin this week, all exhaust components are jigged, and all other parts CAD drawn for production.

We are shooting for 350whp on 93 octane.

We plan on making a base kit which does not include FMIC, and can bolt to the stock side mounts, but also offer a FMIC which replaces the side mounts.

I'm getting itchy to make some power

BT without intercooler?! Really?! How are you going to get consistent power without any way to dissipate the extra heat?

Its not so much about not needing a better IC system, but in my experience have learned that people like things in stages to keep costs down while allowing the customer other options. So the base kit does not include the ASP FMIC. You can add the ASP or your own, but the base tuning will not require it. Don't forget we have the ability to datalog the ME9 ECU (dare I say) faster than any product commercially available (we will posts these as well when available) this includes the IAT sensor. Having this ability will allow us to get as aggressive as possible without comprimising safety in regards to timing correction and knock protection.

Needless to say if the customer adds an upgraded IC, the safety factor only increases in terms of IAT going down.
