1) What are REVO's normal numbers for Boost/Timing/Fuel?
2) What numbers are you running for the same? (B/T/F)
3) Do you like the switcher unit and it's interface/ease of use?
So far I'm pretty happy with the product, I am just a bit mad that no software was included so I could do adjustments to the #'s myself. Right now I'm running the normal program #'s from REVO's 4.2 progream, but I have optimal ones written down from my tune. So I will have to go down to the shop to have them put those numbers in for me.
Any input is cool, thanks!
I dont have a b7 s4, wish I did...but for a b7 a4 stock setting is 6-2-9
As for the selector, you get a program and you get to adjust the settings as you want. You can turn up more boost, fuel, etc...but if you turn your boost or timing up to like 9 your ecu will prob pull timing and not give you the amount requested and over time will ignore the requested values and give you what is safe for the car.
I think the selector is convenient. There are two types: regular and plus. One has the basic program:A, B, C and you can switch back and forth such as stock, file 1 and valet, I believe. Secondly, is the plus, where you can adjust your own settings on your computer and implement them on your car. With this one, you are able to do valet and set it as one mode, you can create two custom programs B&C, which can be your 100 octane or 93 tune if you chose to tune accordingly. It basically the same as the regular, just has more adjustable and tuning capabilities.
Revo is the only chip that gives you the ability to adjust your settings.
if you have further questions, shoot me a pm =D
