So this may sound real n00bish b/c it is but w/e... So my taillight is out. I opened the trunk, unscrewed the one screw, but the tailligth really doesn't come out and i dont want to break it. Am i missing something? Or should it shimmy out? Thanks.

    Re: Tail light

when I change bulbs on my avant, I ran into the same thing. The rubber keeps that light in pretty tight, and there is a plug that extends from the tail light housing into a rubber grommet for lack of a better word.

In my avant, i had to pull and push to the side to get it out, but be careful not to break that plug off the housing.

    Re: Tail light

There are two rubber bulbs that insert into rubber sockets that may require some tilting and pulling to get out. I wouldn't worry too much about breaking them they aren't that fragile.

there is that 1 screw and a retainer clip. pull hard, straight out, and you wont break anything. unclip the harness then pop the "bulb holder" off and replace the bulb. repeat in reverse.

As in straight towards me if I'm standing right behind it. Like, not jiggle it back and forth to loosen it?
