Question Ever see these on a b6?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Thinking I may be the first if I can get them to fit my b6 avant...

    Name: Helios
    Manufacturer: Borbet
    Size: 19x8,5
    Offset: ET45
    Bolt Pattern: 5x112

What do you think? Will they fit with a 10mm spacer?

They should fit over stock brakes even without a spacer. Not the best design IMO for our cars though

Re: Ever see these on a b6?

if the offset is too high, it will not rub, you simply can't mount them on.
but the spoke design of this wheel looks alright.

if your budget for wheels only is under 1K, you can consider buying wheels from Alloy R us or VMR. they have good stuff for cheap.

Yeah VMR's are hot but I picked up 5 of these before they were out. (dam expensive) Just no time to mount... will run them next season or find a vortexer to take them and get the vmr's.

Re: Ever see these on a b6?

^if they're 19's i think they might look decent. he'll just need the rest of the car to go with it... it'll take a very subtle, "round" kind of look to pull those off. they're not the most attractive wheel ever IMO, but if done properly I think it'll give a very VERY definitive look to his car and make it stand out. and in the car world there's really nothing better than that

Re: Ever see these on a b6?

A friend of mine has them on his MKV GTI...they look really good on his car but they have some crazy curb rash. With the 19's, your going to have some poke which leaves you more prone to rash. But then again I have never seen them on our cars so it could be a little different. Just dont want to see you get them and have them chewed up in the first week

    WAT?

diameter of the wheel has nothing to do with how much poke you have.

    width and offset do.

19x8 et 45 or whatever these are will need a spacer on them so they dont look sunken into the fenderwells, if anything at all

Re: Ever see these on a b6?

Hearing I won't need spacer but have a set of 4 10mm sitting on side just incase. Will mount this weekend if weather is nice...
