you can use seafoam to clean that out as well. Put it on a shop rag or something lintless and wipe it off.

That description doesn't sound like it's Audi's error. Instead, it is likely the spark plugs where not torqued properly, IE, not tight enough, when they were installed originally. The threads on the plugs, as well as the threads in the plug hole, must be clean, and lubricated using a light oil. WD 40 is good, then the plugs spun in until the plug gasket contacts the head, using fingers to turn the plug socket only. Then, if a torque wrench is not available, tighten the plugs 3/4 turn from the finger tight point, for new, never installed before plugs, and 1/2 turn for used plugs, no more. The preferred method requires a torque wrench with a suitable range scale, tightening the plugs to 22 ft lbsf, 30 Nm, A 3/8" drive TW is recommended. If the threads in the plug holes need to be cleaned, an inexpensive thread chasing tool can be purchased for this task. (Or use a threading tap, 14 mm X 1.25 mm TP) Apply some grease to the thread chase to catch any carbon particles cleaned from the threads. Use a wire brush to clean the plug threads, but don't allow the brush to touch the insulator at the firing tip. Never clean plug tips using a wire brush, if the tips are wire brushed the plugs are ruined. The brush wires will leave metallic marks on the ceramic insulator surface that is conductive and can cause ignition misfires.

I based my comment on my assumption that the plugs involved are not the original factory fitted OE set. No offense intended.
