SAT Rad no sound!

My car came with XM and I went ahead and bought the Sirius receiver since thats who I was subscribed to. So I take out the old and swap in the new. Call up Sirius and have them beam me the signal. I get all the info to show up: Station, Artist, Title, etc but I have absolutely no sound!

I took it into the dealership (since I bought the receiver there) and they tell me its a bad receiver. I dont believe them, I just think they were too lazy to fix it so...lets give him a brand new part! So same situation, no sound but I obviously have a signal. I researched all about SAT rad before buying this. I made sure the CAN bus was in the right position, etc.

Any one else experience the same problem? I appreciate any help Oh and I just have the plain old Symphony II radio.

Was audio fine with the XM receiver? That should be the first test.

When I purchased the car and had the XM in, nothing appeared when I pressed the SAT button. Guessing I need to have XM activated it and since I wasnt subscribed to them, I never got it activated. Everything else works: radio, cd, etc. Just no sound with SAT

do you have a factory or aftermarket ipod kit?

if so you'll need to buy the enfig audi sat pass 1 or 2 depending on your year

Im sorry, what iis enfig audi sat pass? And I have no ipod set up, what does that have to do with this?
