drop the trans or pulled the engine? Dropped the trans, makes zero sense as to why u wouldnt hit full boost.. unless u messed up a line somewhere tryin to get the engine to trans bolts.

Re: not hitting full boost after replacing clutch

when they dropped it there is a good chance they bent the linkage or something somewhere, probably didnt realize and got it binded up or something. Def bring it back if a shop did it, I wouldnt even touch a single thing if i was you, they'll try and screw you about that shit

There's some adjustments underneath the shifter boot.
They should've noticed test driving the car if it didn't hit the gears like it's supposed to.

as far as the boost issue goes, I don't know what to tell you. EBC, N75 or MBC?

Re: not hitting full boost after replacing clutch

^^ well that is what I meant, probably bent the shift rod/shift pivot rod. Also the fact that your still hitting 18psi, I would check for a small vac leak. It is still holding pressure decently.. Honestly your probably just screwed yourself with getting the mech. to fix the rod sicne that short shift is in there they'll say you messed it up yourself installing it ect..

My stage 5 did that too. I miss how stiff it was :-( after the break in period is over. It's still stiff but not like you are experiencing now.

First of all you shouldnt be hammering on a new clutch dude.... Didnt you read about the breakin. You want your clutch to last n perform well do it right n dont hammer on it.....

Re: not hitting full boost after replacing clutch

IMO unless the shop is an EXTREMELY stand up shop, they are just going to deny everything.. He has an aftermarket shift linkage, it is his problem now that he left, should have been brought back to the shop within the first 20 min of driving. But its worth a shot. idk but i dont think theres anything wrong with hitting 18 psi as long as its not a launch or anything, I mean how much power does a ko3 really make compared to the stage 4? haha I know i didn't baby mine..

Any chance the temps were colder and this could be why you are only hitting 18psi.

BTW how much more boost do you want to run on a K03?

Re: not hitting full boost after replacing clutch

Why are you hitting full boost before the clutch is broken in? That is an easy way to ruin your clutch. It could be slipping because its not broken in. You need at least 500 miles of staying under 4k rpm and not flooring the car.
