Can anyone tell me WTF this is from???

I just started noticing these rust stains forming under my car after parking in the same spot continuously. It's definitely rust, and it seems to be coming from the front end of the car (i.e under the engine somewheres). I think it only really happens after heavy rain days, which there have been many here lately (hurricane season FTL). I even reverse parked into the same spot after a while just to see if the staining followed, and sure enough... Well, let me just show the photos:

I'm freaking out, cause I started noticing this in several other spots I've used in my complex as well as at work!! They all have the same pattern, so something is rusting like CRAZY!

thanks, but it was only 5... and it was with my phone, so it took like 30-seconds. Otherwise I would've had to jack up my car since its lowered, but my condo doesn't allow you to even open the hood around here. So yes, it was easier to take a few photos and ask people if they had a similar problem...

That's what I was thinking (and hoping) too. I had a local shop put on my catback, so I'll take it back since they have a lift... Its definitely coming from two distinct spots, somewhere between the front axles and the cats.

I'm still a little concerned if it might be something more serious though (i.e radiator, hoses, etc.), but we'll see. I just thought someone else might've run into this problem before...

if you have radiator hoses running to the rear of your car then you have some big problems . i kid i kid... i bet its your exhaust getting eaten away

lol. yeah good catch. I guess I meant that maybe something from the cooling system was leaking down towards the engine and running off near the front axles IDK.

I'm banking on the exhaust too, since I still have the stock dp's... They seemed pretty rust last time I had the car on the lift. I'm just surprised that nobody else has had this problem???

nope. just a Milltek cat-back and stock dp's... maybe I'm having a disimilar metals issue, since the Milltek is stainless and the stock dp's are just mild-steel.
