    Suspension Problem?

I've been driving on my my car for a day now. We installed the H&R bilstein combo at the local meet yesterday. The problem is that it feels and sounds like I am bottoming out WAY to easily. There is a loud cluncking noise (front only) were the shock begins to depress and then all of a sudden just hit something solid. It feels a bit mushy and bouncy over any series of bumps on the freeway. The back feels totally solid but the front is worrying me. Anybody have any idea what this could be? or how to check for a problem? Thanks in advance.

did you use the oem sport bumpstops? or the oem non-sport bumpstops? If you used the later you need to remove them and install the sport length bumpstops.

yeah it sounds like your suspension is binding.

Definitely replace your bump stops with the sport length and see if that fixes it.

You can also cut an inch or so off of the stock bump stops.

The dealer is usually a good source for OEM parts. You can also check Purems.com or ECS tuning. I prefer PureMS (mike & his team are great) since ECS never could ship an order to me with the correct parts.
