Rest of exhaust looks fine. Should I get a bosal from ECS for $100 + 30 kit?
or try to buy the flex pipe and have someone do it local?

I talked to one of my friends who owns a shop and said I could bring him the coupling to weld on. He basically refused and wanted to get it from his own supplier. Meaning I get fleeced for parts cost + labor. I tried to get him to ballpark me a figure but he wouldn't. I am guessing it is probably more than $150 bucks though.

I don't want a new exhaust right now because I don't really have the cash for it and would like to fab one myself when the time comes. I don't have a welder yet but I was planning on buying one when my cash reserves build up a bit.

Is there a cheaper option than ECS? I can't seem to find anyone else that sells a kit like that for the audi.

Local exhaust shop should be able to do it and have the flex as well.

    Re: Flex pipe went

Boostedup looking for the whole dp, not just the flex pipe. I googled the bonsal dp but couldn't find another for the audi B5. . I admit I could have been more clear but thanks for the condescending search comments that always helps a guy out.

I will shop around local. I just don't have a lot of time to be on the phone during business hours. And I hate dealing with some shops who want you to pay super inflated parts cost. So it ends up costing more than if I just installed the whole DP myself.
