Re: plasti dip rear of car peice?

    HELL yes!
and it has made a world of difference!
i used a plastic putty knife to pry the strip up and out.
it is held in by clips. took me 2 seconds.
    get on it!

i was thinking about doing this but i kind of like the chrome. i'd like to see a pic of it painted black on a black a4 tho. would it look weird if i painted just the strip black but kept the rings chrome?

By the time you buy the paint, the primer, the sandpaper and the time it takes, you could just buy the OEM black bumper strip for about $45.

Re: plasti dip rear of car peice?

the trimm peice in the back is super easy to take off... open your trunk and start at one corner...then slowly pull up and out.. as for the grills i started reading off of a4mods... getting the grill out of the trim ring is pretty difficult but a screwdriver hel[ps

I think this may be my next cheap mod. I saw a picture of a S4 Avant with the euro option, and it looked amazing.

Or you could just spend $5 on enough plastidip to do both of your front grilles as well as the rear trim piece and you don't need sandpaper or primer. I'm no mathematician but that comes out to be 9 times cheaper.

Looks good, really really clean. Sadly, the Canadian equivalent is about $15... that's how much PlastiDip costs around here.
