    Airbag Module = Radio Pull?

Hey I just need quick confirmation.
Is it 100% absolutely necessary to pull the radio to get to the airbag control module?

Or is it possible to get to the module without actually disconnecting the radio (ie can you pull it but leave the cables connected so the radio does not reset)"?
    Thanks!

Re: Airbag Module = Radio Pull?

i think you need to pull radio. unless you can pull all the shift sorround, pull the HVAC and have room to get your hands in there with the proper socket wrenches to remove it. i would just pull radio and HVAC to have room to work around. you dont want to damage the airbag control module for laziness. those are VERY $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Re: Airbag Module = Radio Pull?

    That is what I thought,
Reason I ask is because I had someone work on it but he told me that when he compared the numbers of the part he ordered and the numbers off of my control module that they did not match. He said that I have some different airbag option. But when I picked up the car the radio worked. I am the only one with the code...it is not in the car. So I am thinking that he did not really pull my module.
