Ok, the deal is definately going through this week, and I'll have my bone stock 2.7 bi-turbo 6-speed A6 this week.

Now the tough part. As of now, with nothing aftermarket on it, it's a complete blank slate. As this is a new platform for me, having been working on my SRT-4 for the last 5 years, I need some input.

I've got a pretty good handle on the turbos, brakes, and suspension, but that leaves a lot of stuff. I need recommendations on:

    shifters
    shift linkage?
motor mounts (needed? anything available other than RS4?)
Clutch (I've used SouthBend with good results, what about VAST? Others?)
    Drivetrain stabilizer bar (clueless)
    etc....

So, what would you do with your car if you were starting over from scratch?

    Re: blank slate engine

JHM for your shifter needs, they made a new shift assembly that replaces the factory plastic ball one.

034 motorsports and ASP sell tranny and motor mounts.

AWE and ASP sell DTS's i believe.

cant speak from experience on clutch, some people say rs4 is fine for k04s, other say its not enough. for my stage 3 setup i will be using an ASP stage 4 clutch with rs4 pressure plate and a LWFW (cant remember what one)
