    Door Blade Replacement

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hey Gang,

I have new door blates for my '02 A4. Besides the two screws, front and rear, what is the trick to taking the old ones off?

    Thanks,
    Ted

    Re: Door Blade Replacement

Remove the two screws as you mentioned (front and back).

Carefully slide them towards the back of the car and they should come off the pins in the door.

This isn't a great picture but you can kind of see the pins in the doors. Those pins hold the door blades on.

Don't twist or pull (away from the door) or you'll break either the pins or door blades. Just slide them aft. You'll realize once the first door blade is off.
