Making a come back?

So as some of you may remember me, I used to post on here more regularly when I had my B6, Randy (quattro) and some of the rest of ya, Chris (@Penske), what's up? Anyways, I currently have a 08 G37 which you may have seen in other posts of mine. I'll be moving out soon and while my G37 is a great car, I miss the fuel advantage of my other car and looking for something a little more adaptable to any circumstances. So I've been looking into hoping back into Audi with an A3, go with the hatchback for any unexpected Home Depot trips, or larger stuff, I can move my bikes around, and its a better MPGer. So just wondering what's the latest with the A3 I see they've gone through a face lift since I was last here regularly, and they got quattro, finally, in the 2.0T. So what should I be looking at, any good lease rates on the A3, I don't see much on the website. I'll be contacting good old penske and nathan here at some point, but I wanted to get a few of your guys option on what options are a must and what may have changed in my 8 month absence.

Beat deals on a3s are still used cars. Best would be to wait it out and pick up someones used 2.0tq but prob not going to see that for another six months.

Thanks for the input, I'm looking at a lease most likely, I've had good luck with residuals and such, I'm looking to come out of my G with about 3k in cash for driving the car for around 6 months.

lol.....so I had one of those inquiry contact me things out off AudiUSA.com, and this was one response, mind you that this is a lease. I haven't heard a response to some other questions where I really shot down his "deal." Just sounded outrageous for the A3.

That doesnt strike me as being that fantastic. I financed mine for a monthly payment of $538.19. Granted I put considerably more down than $1k.

That was essentially my response to his quote, I told him why wouldn't I just finance it if that was the best he could do? I haven't heard a response. I'm sure there was no deal going on, just MSRP, some high lease rate and no help.

^ x2, Have you got in contact with Penske yet? I was even sure if the A3's came in quattro yet. I know you previoulsy came from a B6 A4 but would you mind looking into the B7's as well or even a B8. What trasmission do you prefer MT6 or Automatic? A bunch of variables are likely to change with which ever you are looking for. I know Penske has a lot of great deals on their CPO's as well it just depends on what packages you are looking for and then we can go from there.

There's where I see a problem, probably on the corporate side of Audi. All they seem to want to push out is A4's, finding a deal on an A4 is fairly easy. But these dang A3's, just no incentives seem to exist. I like driving manual, but with my commuting, and GF, I'll be leaning more so to a automatic. I think I found one used one pretty nicely loaded. FWD and an 06, but it's not certified pre-owned, it may still have an existing factory warranty being only at 24k mileage. So I'm going to make some calls on that one, but I really would prefer to get a new one.

I laughed when they wrote an article about resigning Corey Perry to the Ducks. I'm sure they really had to twist his arm to play Ice Hockey in Socal for what, 5 or 6 mil. Yeah that's a tough one.
