Disabling TPMS on A4 2008 3.2

Hello,

I read that we can disable TPMS with Vag-Com.

1) Go to 17-Instruments
2) choose Adaptation
3) choose Channel 61.
4) Subtract 512 from the value you find there.

no more TPMS!

The person that gives the recipe as a A4 08 2T, I have the 3.2, does any one know if they are the same TPMS valves?

I called the dealer this morning and he tells me that we cannot disable it and the the valves are $500.00 canadian.

For this price I would prefer the buy a Vag-Com.....

Any body that have a A4 2008 3.2 disable it?

See if there is a VW/Audi specialty shop in town, they might let you borrow their VAGCOM for the 10 seconds it takes to do this. Engine doesn't matter, same process.
